   A friend from work bought a pair of these and found they were “incompatible” with his board. I snagged them up for $20, pleased with myself for finding such a good deal. HA!

   One is straight up no good, won’t POST. Fails in every memory slot>

   The other gets me through the BIOS but fails under load. Can’t get through installing Windows without page faults, memory dumps, or other general failures. An alternate stick proves it’s the memory and not the system. NOT advised.

   No problems at all with this product. Took 5 minutes to open the case and install. Computer runs a more faster now in my New ADM 64×2 6000+.

   Corsair is always known for it’s quality products and that’s why I buy them. I own their PSU which is awesome and I also own this RAM which is rock solid stable. I have my E6300 at a 62% overclock and it is perfectly stable. Passed Prime95/Intel Burn-in tests. Also you can’t beat the price with the mail-in rebate. I will always recommend Corsair products. Never had any fail on me.

   Using them in an 18 month old gaming PC raised my Windows Vista performance index from 5.1 (limited by RAM speed) to 5.3 (limited by CPU- RAM performance is now 5.5). No issues with installation, auto detected just fine.
   In game performance it raised World of Warcraft from 25 fps (1920×1080) in Dalaran up to 35-40 fps. Raiding (lots of aoe graphics) went from 40-45 fps in Naxxramas to 55-60fps.
   Well worth the cost after rebate.

   My new tower had 6gb RAM (3 x 2gb and 2 x 1gb).

   I wanted to upgrade to 8gb RAM (4 x 2gb).

   Everytime I tried to replace the 1gb RAM with the
   2gb RAM, it would not allow me to boot the server.

   I am returning this defective hardware to the vendor.

   This product arrived as described and worked just fine. I used in a Dell Mini 9.

   Installed 2 of these memory modules on a duo core inspiron 6400 after checking out the manufacturers web site. Memory and laptop booted fine after installation and Xp(32bit) saw 3.25 gigs of ram which is the max you will see in any 32bit OS. Decided to test the memory using memtest86+ and it failed. To make sure it was the memory, tested on an identical inspiron that was running the same brand memory and it failed on that machine. Hence 2 bad sticks of memory. Memory manufacturers are getting sloppy with there testing. This will be my last Corsair memory purchase.

   This memory module was ordered for use in an eeepc running easypeasy. It was needed to facilitate viewing video from newscasts. The item had to be sent twice. The first module received was not recognized by my system. The second one worked upon its installation. Videos are now viewable with little interruption.

   The Amazon return policy and procedures was responsive, simple and effective. The second shipment was received in a few days after the first was reported as defective.

   Good product make my asus 1000he run faster and boot faster. Anyone buying an eee pc should consider this product. You can not beat the price.

    This review pertains to upgrades for the Asus EEE PC 1000 HE. The RAM itself works great, I got mine 2 weeks ago and couldn’t be happier, it really made a difference over the onboard 1 GB, for $20, you simply cannot go wrong with this upgrade!

    I had a problem yesterday though. I was going about my refular business writing an Email and listening to IMEEM VIP and all a sudden my screen freezes and locks up my computer. I do a hard reset by pressing the power button, the computer turns on, black screen, nothing happens, I start getting nervous… I try the reset button behind the computer several times to no avail…

    Finally, 45 mins later in last resort I decide to remove the RAM and replace it with the 1 GB stick that came with the computer… And from here on the computer started working again. I did remove the 1 GB and replace the 2 GB there in and it is now working again…

    So not sure what happened, if it’s the RAM’s fault or the computers fault, or mine for some unknown reason but I just wanted to share my experience. Everything is running fine now with the old 2 GB RAM stick that froze my computer yesterday, could have been some weird glitch too…

    Great buy otherwise, highly recommended!!!

    Memory chip took 2.5 weeks to actually arrive from Amazon. I picked amazon because it was the best price, and it was actually in stock where with other vendors it was not. Yet astonishingly, I ordered from New Egg 3 days after Amazon when I learned of the delayed delivery date and despite not being in stock at New Egg, it arrived a full week before the Amazon order did.

    I tried to cancel the order a week in, yet since it had not been received I could not return it. And though it had not yet been shipped, I could not cancel the order. This is likely the last thing I will ever buy from Amazon.

    Bought this memory for a laptop running Vista. The laptop has 2 memory slots and there was no mention in the instructions (laptop or memory) on which slot to put it in. So I have 50% chance to get it right. I got the other 50% - the wrong one. Moved it to the top slot; rebooted the computer and it worked fine. Vista runs better - I don’t like it any more, however.
    2GB is better than 1GB running Vista on a laptop. For the price, get this item.

    For some reason on Amazon this memory is listed for the Asus EeePC 1000HA but does not work - its incompatible in the Asus 1000HA. Not sure why. I’ve used Kingstom for other PC memory upgrades and their products have been just fine - no problems over years of use - so I’ve given a 5 star for how they are fine if they are put into the right machine.

    I’ve bought 2GB RAM to replace existing 1GB RAM for my new ASUS-904HA.
    So far, so good, it speeds up program running. Boot for 30 seconds.
    I am satisfied with Kingston RAM, that brand is always reliable.

    This is just what my laptop needed to help speed it up. Price was right and it was easy to install. You don’t have to be an IT expert to get it done.
