   A friend from work bought a pair of these and found they were “incompatible” with his board. I snagged them up for $20, pleased with myself for finding such a good deal. HA!

   One is straight up no good, won’t POST. Fails in every memory slot>

   The other gets me through the BIOS but fails under load. Can’t get through installing Windows without page faults, memory dumps, or other general failures. An alternate stick proves it’s the memory and not the system. NOT advised.

   No problems at all with this product. Took 5 minutes to open the case and install. Computer runs a more faster now in my New ADM 64×2 6000+.

   Corsair is always known for it’s quality products and that’s why I buy them. I own their PSU which is awesome and I also own this RAM which is rock solid stable. I have my E6300 at a 62% overclock and it is perfectly stable. Passed Prime95/Intel Burn-in tests. Also you can’t beat the price with the mail-in rebate. I will always recommend Corsair products. Never had any fail on me.

   Using them in an 18 month old gaming PC raised my Windows Vista performance index from 5.1 (limited by RAM speed) to 5.3 (limited by CPU- RAM performance is now 5.5). No issues with installation, auto detected just fine.
   In game performance it raised World of Warcraft from 25 fps (1920×1080) in Dalaran up to 35-40 fps. Raiding (lots of aoe graphics) went from 40-45 fps in Naxxramas to 55-60fps.
   Well worth the cost after rebate.

   good price for what you get, not the best speed for the currently available memories but very good for the money you pay

   I purchased this 2×2G memory kit to upgrade my PC.
   Installation was a snap, I just replaced my 2×500m with this pair and Windows XP recognized right away. I was thinking about buying a new computer, but with this memory upgrade along with a new 22 inch LCD monitor, it just became a new PC. I usually buy new PC every 3 years.
   With this upgrade, however, I will be using my 3 year old PC another year or two.

   It does what it should. Relatively slow memory at 667MHz, but more than enough for your primary computer. No hassles, easy to install (if you know what you’re doing), and I never had problems with Kingston’s customer service. A good deal at this price!

   Kingston ValueRAM 4GB Kit (2×2GB) 667MHz DDR2 DIMM 240-pin Desktop Memory KVR667D2K2/4GR (Retail) I have a gaming computer and with the previous 2GB of RAM, it did okay.(I play WOW) But I couldn’t turn all graphic features on or up because it caused too much lag. With the new Ram installed I can turn everything on and all the way up and it works flawlessly! The preformance is great!

   Kingston is the only memory brand i buy. And I make and sell machines. I have never have a defective memory, even after years!!!

   Most stable Brand.

    Highly recommend! Very overclockable with no errors. Not to mention it was a great deal at around 30 dollars…

    I bought this memory for a new system I built. I installed it on an Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard with an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU and Windows Vista 64-bit operating system. The machine booted up without any trouble until I tried installing Vista. At the end of the install it kept giving me an error message regarding my hardware configuration and would not let me continue. I called Asus and mentioned the problem I was having and they suggested installing Vista with only one of the pieces of memory in place and to install the second piece of memory after the install of Vista was complete. Everything worked after this and my PC is running great and recognizes all of the memory. I am very happy with the end result.

    It turned out to be 2 sticks of 2GB, but I’m still happy with the performance I’m getting out of it. I recommend this to any user. And don’t be afraid to extend your time of PC use. After all, it has heatsinks built in.

    I couldn’t be happier. This memory totally rocks. It’s blazing fast, great timings. And cheap.

    For DDR2, I don’t think it gets any better than this

    I fill the difference clearly in opening the huge files, and in jumping between the graphics applications when I run more than one at same time.

    U just wanted a cheap 4GB kit for an old Pc i have to do some work on it and the work like a charm.

    First off this ram will eventually work correctly but how much time do you have to waste with tech support from ocz and do you feel about setting all the delay times for the ram. (it’s listed as 5 6 6 18) but there is a 50 50 chance those times will not work for you as well as you will need to set another 2 delays in the bios and keep trying different delays until your computer eventually boots with no errors and pass a stress test… I highly recommend paying another $20 and buying ram that will boot correctly by just inserting it into the mother board

    my first set of these “flashy” looking memory sticks also provided fast efficient results.i wanted to beef up my vista home prem. with 8gb.this memory rocks and they stay cooler than regular memory that came in my new system.OCZ rocks and genarally cheaper than the “kings” type of memory.I recommend the ocz product.
