   Crucial Technology is a reputable company for memory too.

   The product was the wrong size and I have been trying to find out where I can return it and get the correct product but have had no luck - Can you tell me where I can return it and get my money back???? I am not happy at all.

   Plugged it in, powered up my pc and sure enough it works just fine with no problems so far. I only now wish I had gotten two since it was so cheap.

   This product was delivered on time and safely wrapped correctly. The ram was “brand new” and the correct one! If you are looking to pay an affordable price for ram and receive a great product, BUY THIS! DO NOT SPEND MORE THAN THIS FOR RAM as there is no ram better than another if it is ordered correctly. Make sure you get the right specs before ordering your ram. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

   I was able to get a this very cheap (not from this shipper) and my system feels like it got a strong cup of caffine (Now have three sticks of 512 RAM instead of one). I cannot stress enough to buyers - make sure that your motherboard can accomodate this type of RAM - CHECK YOUR MANUAL (I had to download a copy of mine cause I couldn’t find it - I only had the box LOL). If you have existing RAM and it says PC133 SDRAM you should be good to go. If you are looking to increase to 1GB check your motherboard manual to make sure it can accomodate that kind of capacity . If you don’t know what the heck your doing, buy from a bricks and mortar store that will allow you to return the RAM if it is the wrong type so you don’t have to deal with shipping and handling. (Or do like me - get it real cheap so you can stand the loss if it is defective or incompatable)

   Note: I had to re-sit the RAM card twice (ie take it out and put it in again) before my computer would recognise it. But then I had this problem even with my existing RAM which still works hunky-dory so it probably just means that I need get some ‘bottled air’ and blow out the dust in the slots : D

   I got this in a sealed anti-static sleeve in a bubble-lined envelope (no box) through international shipping - I was so afraid that it would have been warped when I opened it but it was perfectly fine!

   I’m watching the prices here - whew - I only paid US12.00 for 2 sticks of 512RAM and that included shipping and handling : (

   This type of memory, I know, is almost obsolete and my old PC is now working twice as fast. The price is just great and it works amazingly.

   I looked at the detailed product specifications and it said this product was backward compatible with PC100 as the title PC133/100 implies. This product did not work in a PC100 computer as another review also states. The company did not respond to two emails about the issue.

   Centon 512MB PC133/100 SDRAM works great and the Install was no effort
   Computer booted up right away after install. I can see a significant improvment in overall computer performance

    I have a Celeron 800MHz in a motherboard that supports PC100 (100MHz) and this memories where not recognized.
    So, check with your PC manufacturer before buying this product.

    The Centon 512 MB PC133 SDRAM installed without any problems in the third memory slot of a HP Pavilion 7955. The RAM was recognized on the first power up after installation. Works fine with 2 other 256 MB PC133 SDRAM memory modules.

    My customer needed two 256 Mb Ram sticks. After snooping around on the web I returned to amazon and found exactly what I needed at a good price. My customer is happy. I am happy.

    I have used Kingston “ValueRam” in the past and have found it to be very reliable. Buying from Amazon saved me $60.00. Very easy to install and showed up in the display right away. On the computer that I installed it has a memory board with a maximum of 512 MB. Adding the extra 256 MB of RAM and deleting some programs and photos off my hard drive cut the boot up time in half.

    My old Hp Pavilion (now my mother uses it) is a 2001 with a PIII 600 cpu. A Generic 128Mb SDRAM PC133 ram went bad. This machine originally did not have a Generic PC133 in it, but was added later and worked many years. The computer worked fine until the Generic ram went bad (The original 128Mb ram is still working, but too small). I thought all SDRAM are the same and backwards compatible. Unfortunately I was wrong and bought this ram; my BIOS seen the size fine and I tried different configurations, but no go the computer would not boot. I wrote to the seller Cybermedia about my computer not accepting this ram. Their response was that there is such a thing as HIGH DENSITY and LOW DENSITY ram. They offered to check it out and if they found a problem they would replace it. The shipping back and forth costs more than the ram is worth, so I am out 10.00 for nothing. This review is not against Cybermedia, only beware some ram is not compatible. This ram happens to be High Density. Also the ram pictured shows the chips vertically the one I received were horizontal - I am not sure this makes a any difference.

    Didn’t work, but I’m still working on it. I normally purchase computer parts from a local provider, but it was so cheap that I couldn’t pass it up plus I had a few dollars left on a giftcard.

    Bought this 512MB to supplement existing 1GB PC133 memory on a Soyo K7VTA Pro motherboard. I had to throttle all the memory back to PC100 (even when this 512MB was the only module installed) in order to prevent system freezes.

    I was running on 512MB of memory which limited what I could open and run. With 2 PNY 512MB cards, which were truly plug and play, my 6 year old computer performs like a new machine. I recommend a memory boost to anyone with an underperforming machine.

    My computer was suffering from low RAM memory and though it was limited to a total of only 512 MB, I knew I could use more than the 384 I had which was on two cards. This new product put more memory on one card and my computer’s performance improved. BUT the great plus was that I received the new card the next day after I ordered it. Amazing Amazon.

    Great memory, easily improved my old windows 2000 computer, pentium III.
    Still can’t do much more than email, but it does speed applications, and boots faster.

    I bought this to upgrade an old Gagteway 1.1GHz machine. It worked great with no problems.
