   I tried in every way to fit this into my PC (its a Dell), then I gave it to my brother who has a HP but with no success. I strongly do no recommend it.

   I purchase this memory for gaming computer upgrade. I ordered (2)Sticks and bump up my gaming computer to 2GB. It worked and performed just great! A very good price for this RAM, and shipping was really fast. Thanks

   I had a MacBook Pro with 1GB of RAM. I like to run Parallels with Windows XP along with a lot of other Mac applications. When I did that, my MacBook would slow down and the beach ball of death would show up for several minutes. Now, with 2 of these bad boys in my computer, my MacBook runs faster and more smoothly with all these apps going.

   I would strongly recommend this product!

   I Received my Purchase Almost 3 Weeks After i ordered it From this Site! I Will Never Order Another Item Of Amazon As Long As I have The Internet..AKA. Forever!!!

   I upgraded my PC to Windows Vista with 512 MB RAM and it was just a hog. But Windows recommended to upgrade to 2GB memory and bought this one. Since then the performance is awesome.

   Cheap stuff but works really good! That is all I need! As not a hard-core gamer nor an IT prof, I found it serves good in my desktop.

   I ordered the Crucial / 1GB / 200-pin SODIMM / DDR2 PC2-5300 memory module. However, what was shipped was something completely different. They shipped me the 240-pin module instead of the 200 pin sodimm. When I called Crucial/Amazon, they were unwilling to exchange the items for the correct ones. They wanted to charge me more for the items that I had already paid for. It “wasn’t their problem” that I had received the wrong items. After spending 45 minutes on the phone arguing the matter, they gave me two options, pay more for the 1GB / 200-pin SODIMM / DDR2 PC2-5300 memory module or refund it entirely. Rather than submit to the bait and switch tactics that they were employing, I had them refund the entire order. It would be my suggestion that Amazon not do business with retailers who will not honor what was on the invoice or advertised on the website. Shady business practices by Crucial will only hurt both Amazon’s and Crucial’s reputation. Needless to say, I will not be ordering anything from Crucial ever again. Next time I order from Amazon, I will be a little more weary about ordering an item that comes from a third party. In the meantime, I will have to take my business elsewhere since Crucial was unwilling to resolve the issue.

    This a great product at a great price. It is amazing how cheap memory has become. When I wanted to upgrade my RAM, I did some research and decided this is what I wanted, and I was right. It has worked perfectly ever since I installed it.

    Installed this into my Dell Mini netbook and it works great. 1GB really was an ideal size since the hibernation file takes up a drive size exactly equaling your memory. Didn’t want 2GB since only have an 8GB SSD. XP’s sweet spot is 1GB anyway if you aren’t running grueling apps or games, which you aren’t going to do on a netbook anyhow.

    I went with Kingston due to their no-nonsense lifetime warranty claim procedure. I’ve done the process before and it was so hassle free that I was never going to any other vendor’s product line even if it was cheaper.

    I have an inspiron 6400 and the memory work’s just fine. The performance of my laptop increased dramaticaly. It is a very good product.

    This is value ram and regular ram can be purchased for the same price direct from kingston.

    I recently upgraded my old computer’s memory with two 1-GIG memory cards from Kingston. The price was right and the shipping was fast. Dell Computers’ price for the same cards was 3X more!

    I bought this about a month ago and so far i am glad i did. I’m running an older computer that takes ddr and the only thing i wish i had done now was got 2 of them.

    had a hard time getting the card to snap into my emachines computer. then my computer crashed. i had to remove the ram and restart windows. put ram back in and have not had any more problems.
