Got the order 3 days earlier than predicted. I bought (two) 1G RAM and installed it last night, 3-31-09, and they are working great.

The only advice I have to offer is to make sure you are ordering the right RAM for your specific computer before making an online purchase. If you have any doubt about whether it will be the right RAM chip, consult with your computer manual or visit the mfg website.

Anyone that knows anything about computers will tell you with today’s programs on your computer, more physical memory is a must. Check to see what you have and how much you can add and, chances are your computer will speed up to where it used to be. This PNY memory sure did the trick for my old Dell and the price was great on Amazon.

4gb Ram Related Resource

Well, I must say my the hardest part about switching the ram out on my tablet pc was the packaging. It was that easy! Had no issues, vista automatically detected it and my computer is able to use 3 of the 4gb since I only have the 32bit OS right now. Not much else to say when it went in with no problems. It does seem to me that it loads up faster and shuts down quicker than before. I would definately recommend this since it does what is expected and at the best price on the web at a little over $40 shipped at purchase time.

Sdram 512 Laptop Helpful Info

As I’m writing this in September of 2008, this iBook with a fourteen inch screen is selling for $1799. I’m not sure, but I think that’s something like six hundred bucks more than I paid for mine when I got it from Apple when it came out three or four years ago. Since then I’ve bought a MacBook, but I still have some Classic programs I like to use on occasion, especially the Classic version of Nisus and you can’t run any of those programs on the new Intel Macs or any of the older Macs running Leopard. So, I’ve kept my trusty iBook. Plus I take it on the road a lot.

I needed a new battery, so I thought I’d check here to see if I could beat the price on that auction site and stumbled across this page and the iBooks going for so much money and couldn’t understand why.

Are they’re people out there like me who still want or need to run Classic programs. Or maybe they just don’t like those awful reflecting screens on the new MacBooks or maybe they just suffer from nostalgia. I don’t know. But I will say this, my trusty iBook has taken a lickin’ and it’s still tickin’. I don’t think it’s possible to buy a more dependable, more reliable laptop. It’s heavy by today’s standards, but it’s a joy to work on.

First of all, I do not own the unit, I am just hoping someone will comment on my ‘review’. I searched for “laptop” in electronics, and then sorted the list by BestSelling. Now i see its ranked #1 in electronics, and #6 in laptops…why is it ranked so high if it has only one customer review, and that customer gave it one star? You’d think that with such a huge volume of customers purchasing the unit that there’d be more reviews? Or does no review define a good product–nothing to gripe about? Any answers would be appreciated. BTW i gave it 5 stars, to give it the benefit of the doubt if in fact it is such a good peice of hardware.
